I probably missed the deadline already if you recorded on Tuesday but this is about a past episode anyways so who cares hehehe. Remembered servo failures on my 380 and 420. The servo would decide on its own to change its center to a few more degrees as if the gear slipped and re-engaged causing a wobble and a crash. It only happened to one model of one brand. I have other servos of the same brand in a different size and they have survived crashes really well and work great. Guess it’s me hehehe

Oh and I was a victim of the SRXL Spektrum brownout issue that was fixed after a firmware upgrade. My 570 died in the middle of a hurricane. Luckily I’m not McGrady so I don’t do them at Mach 1 so the damage was not catastrophic.

Gosh things keep creeping back from long term memory… once I had my pitch off balance significantly so the Heli would not stop flying towards the ground no matter how much pitch I applied. It is my only miracle crash as the Heli came away so clean I was able to hover it again just to do a quick check. Then after I got back home I indeed corroborated zero damage. It was on my ikon/brain days.

I had my channel assignment incorrect on the aileron so the Heli kept coming at me and I kept pushing the stick but things got worse. I had just lifted off and it went down on the ground luckily for me unluckily for the poor 380. That was a BeastX.

Well I have been known to have my share of issues. I’m catching up so I am now on this episode on the FBL portion. But I have had the ikon/brain shut down on me due to a firmware issue with the governor, the Spirit hit start on me due to an issue with compatibility with a certain brand of receiver, and a reception disconnect that brought the 500 down. The only other bad failure was caused by me and lack of Loctite which caused the transmission of the 570 to eat itself. Oh and back in the day
