Hey ? How do I rebuild my new to me 1980s bird of time power glider ? I had it 3s in runner spin of it fire wall it seem thin ? Do I use balsa ? Bass ? What thick ness ? I was contemplating 032" sheet aluminum ? It's got two fishing weight sinkers donut shaped lead so I was thinking maybe 062" sheet in a circle shape punched out to mount motor screw dimensions and 2or 4 wings bent back with two screws to screw to fuse. Or do the fire wall circle ?? From builder it got a nose cone and it pretty stream line so maybe I'll make a oem one and exacto the holes in and double the thickness and reinforce with angles of bass wood. It's a inrunner and the fuse has a mid line motor wood support the the motor sits on. But I was contemplating adding a auto metal hose clamp to the cross member and epoxy it in place to the wood and then tighten the inrunner in place to relieve sum of the torque off the motor mount ;) it was oem flown on 12/15 Nicads cells

Fully enjoyed this episode. Great to hear a guest fully enjoying anither aspect of RC Flight. Been slowely getting into FPV as well. Certainly is fun.
